CCSM purchases and rehabilitates dilapidated buildings to preserve affordable housing and improve neighborhoods. A typical rehabilitation includes seismic retrofit, replumbing, reroofing, electric upgrades, additional architectral elements, landscaping, painting, and improvements to the unit interiors. Our goal is to extend the building useful life by 40-50 years, to improve the quality of life for the residents, and to upgrade the built environment in the neighborhood. |
